From the document: “Mr. PLATTS. A quorum being present this hearing, the Subcommittee on Government Efficiency and Financial Management will come to order. Today's hearing is one in a series focusing on recently released audit opinions for Federal agencies. This year 21 of the 24 agencies mandated by the CFO Act to perform financial audits earned an unqualified or clean opinion. The Department of Defense [DOD], one of three entities not receiving a clean audit, will be the focus of today's hearing, and I would like to thank each of the witnesses for agreeing to testify here today and for your work leading up to your testimony today.”
