From the document: “The Army's "Night Court" process cut $25 billion from legacy weapon systems to spend more on emerging technologies, with $15 billion coming from program eliminations and reductions detailed in documents obtained by Inside Defense. Though previous reports clarified some of the Army savings achieved from large program adjustments, the new, "for official use only" documents detail those cuts, as well as dozens of others, in context across the service's five-year budget plan. The documents also include the Army's rationale for the cuts as well as the names of affected contractors or government agencies and affected congressional districts and lawmakers.”
