Performance Improvement Council Quick Reference: The Performance Improvement Council
From the overview: “The Performance Improvement Council (PIC) is a government-wide body that supports cross-agency collaboration and best practice sharing. The PIC was established in law in 2010 under the Government Performance and Results Modernization Act (GPRAMA). The PIC is chaired by the Deputy Director for Management at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) within the Executive Office of the President and is supported by staff at the General Services Administration (GSA). The PIC’s mission is to advance and expand the practice of performance management and improvement. The PIC accomplishes this by creating opportunities for government employees to learn performance management best practices, spread breakthroughs and successes across government, and solve complex challenges through collaboration.”
