From the summary: “The U.S. Army’s Office of the Chief of Chaplains (OCCH) requested that RAND Arroyo Center examine U.S. demographic trends in religious affiliation. As the religious composition of the United States changes, not only does it impact the religious composition of recruits, but it also has the potential to significantly change the religious needs of the Army population for years to come. To prepare for these changes, OCCH will need to consider changes to the U.S. Army Chaplain Corps’s (DACH’s) force mix, to both monitor and adjust that mix over time.”
