“a. The DOD Components will: (1) Conduct developmental T&E (DT&E), operational T&E (OT&E), and live fire T&E (LFT&E) as part of an adequate T&E program. (2) Integrate test planning and test execution across stakeholders to facilitate an efficient use of data and resources. b. For non-major defense acquisition programs (MDAPs) and for programs not on T&E oversight, these guiding principles should be used as a best practice for an integrated and effective T&E strategy.”
