From the report: “The USD(AT&L) led the first meeting with the Task Group to emphasize his vision and provide insight on each Military Services’ process for selecting program managers. Before conducting interviews with industry representatives, the Task Group gathered information on the Department’s current process through interviews and discussions with senior representatives from the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and the Service Acquisition Executives (SAEs) responsible for the Department’s procurement of weapons systems.”
