Defense Organizational Climate Survey (DEOCS) Redesign : Office of People Analytics , October , 2021
From the report: “The Defense Organizational Climate Survey (DEOCS) is a unit-level climate survey that all military commanders and Department of Defense (DOD) civilian organization leaders are required to administer to their unit or organization within 120 days1 of a change in command, and annually thereafter. Due to this congressionally mandated requirement, the DEOCS is one of the largest and most important DOD surveys. Its breadth is unmatched: over 1 million Service members and DOD civilians take the survey annually, making it the Department’s largest voluntary personnel data collection.”
